Water vapor makes up about 78% of the greenhouse effect. Methane makes up about 15%. Nitrous oxide makes up about 5%. Ozone makes up less than 1%.

Global warming refers to the increase in average temperatures around the world. Scientists believe that global warming is caused by human activities, such as burning fossil fuels. Global warming causes changes in weather patterns, sea levels, and ocean currents.
7. Climate Change
Climate change is the long-term trend toward changing conditions in the earth’s climate. Scientists predict that the earth’s climate will continue to change over time. Changes in the environment could affect humans and animals.
