Don’t keep all your emotions bottled up inside. If you’re feeling hurt, angry, confused, etc., then you should probably share those feelings with your ex.

When you start talking to your ex again, make sure that you’re ready to move on. If you still love him/her, then you shouldn’t have any problem moving forward. But if you’re not sure whether or not you still care, then you might want to hold off on getting back together.
Keep In Touch With Friends
Your friends will always be there for you no matter what happens between you and your ex. So even though you two aren’t together anymore, you’ll still have plenty of people around to help you out.

Focus on yourself and forget about your ex. If you’re constantly thinking about him/her, then it’s only going to cause you pain. Instead, focus on your own happiness and well-being.
